Just like the sunshine, bright and cheerful Yvette Murrell has joined us for the summer as our dazzling social media intern. We catch up with her to find out what makes her such a glowing addition to the team.

#1. What’s your favourite word?

Umm… Rogue! There is always an interesting story when the word rogue is used.

#2. What gets you up in the morning?

Around about the fifth alarm. I am really not a morning person.

#3. *Noted*. Oh, and what do you truly, honestly think of social media?

I love it. I think there is far more positives than there are negatives about it.

#4. Jolly good. Kindles or books?

Ooh tough one. I do use my Kindle on the go but you just can’t beat picking up a good book.

#5. What do you think is the biggest challenge to your industry right now?

How fast-paced everything is – keep up and don’t slip up!

#6. Agreed. What did you want to be when you were growing up?

I’ve always wanted to write.

#7. What led you to your current career?

A winding road but it’s becoming a clearer path now.

#8. We’ll guide you right, Yvette. Can you use your favourite word in a sentence?

I just found a Pokémon, rogue! (Guess what game I’ve been playing today). For professional reasons, of course.

#9. Can you make it rhyme?

Ah. It was not in Vogue?

#10. Bosh. What advice would you give to your younger self?

Believe in yourself. If you have the confidence, you can do anything.

#11. *Hi-fives*. What’s the best thing anyone’s ever done for you?

Given me the opportunity to progress further. That and the surprise trip to Paris I was taken on last year.

#12. Ambassador, you are spoiling us with your tales of European travel. Tell us, what’s been your ‘career-defining’ moment?

I think that is still yet to come…

#13. If you won a big award of some kind, who would you thank?

My mum, my dad, everyone who… *begins sobbing like Gwyneth Paltrow at the Oscars*

#14. Can you give us a timesaver of the day?

Write a list at the beginning of the day so you can keep on track. It also feels great when you’ve ticked it all off at the end of the day.

#15. Where do you see your industry in 24 months?

Growing. I think there are lots of new avenues to be explored.

#16. Where were you 24 months ago?

According to Timehop, I was in Bristol sorting out my shoe collection (I’ve tried to post more interesting things since then).

#17. What’s an interesting fact about you?

I am a cheerleader *\o/*

#18. If you could have a Skype chat with anyone living or dead, who would it be?

Someone who is successful and who inspires me. I’d really love to speak to Jo Elvin – Editor of Glamour magazine.

#19. What’s one word you’d want people to describe you with?

Friendly

#20. Mind taking a selfie?

Sure thing.

#21. What’s your favourite Twitter handle?

@innocent always make me giggle and I like how interactive they are with their followers.

#22. What’s one quote that defines your work ethic?

Always try to see the glass half full. Keep pushing yourself to become better but recognise how far you’ve come.

#23. Apart from being here, what’s been the best part of your day?

First task of day: go and play Pokémon Go.

#24. And finally, anything to plug?
