Well, well, well. What can we say?! To have even made the finals of the Brentwood Business Awards in the Sales and Marketing category was a dream come true. We love what we do, and we love promoting our clients via our love of what we do. But to have that recognised by someone else? Well, that makes it all the more special, doesn’t it? (Ed’s note: yes it does)

When Bretts Business Recovery came to judge us in our category back in September, we think our love of what we do shone through. Social media is our real passion, and hopefully it’s clear that 24fingers’ girls just wanna have fun with their feeds. We’re not afraid of a bit of silliness and certainly not afraid of an emoji or two, and if puns = personality, well, then we’ve got it in spades. And that’s the beauty of what we do; we can channel that enthusiasm into a tone of voice and a marketing campaign that will be right up our clients’ streets.

Fast forward a few months and we find Miss Goode dolled up to the nines and nervously sipping a prosecco (or five) at Orsett Hall on the night of the awards, accompanied by her surprise guest, the fab Kevin Gordon of Digital Technology Labs. The great and the good of Brentwood were there in full force, and even without a win, the atmosphere was all about what Brentwood businesses do best: supporting each other.

We knew that we were in a super tough category, alongside our fellow finalists DUSK Brentwood and Oscar Fairchild. Fortunately, Sales and Marketing was the first category of the night, so we didn’t have to too long to wait. A few more Proseccos for Dutch courage over dinner, and finally the moment was upon us.

“And the winner is…24fingers!” All. The. Whoops!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If anyone saw us shaking our thang on the dancefloor or in the bar at 2am that morning celebrating you’ll know how much winning the Sales and Marketing Award at the Brentwood Business Awards means to us. We pour our heart and soul into what we do and our (24) fingers are very rarely not typing away, so to have that acknowledged by a business community that we love being a part of really is the cat’s pyjamas.

Thank you to Caroline, Leah, Paul and the rest of the team at Brentwood Chamber of Commerce, Carmel Jane Photography and Orsett Hall for putting on a fantastic night, and of course to Brett’s Business Recovery for seeing how much we love what we do and deeming us deserving of the award. It really does mean the absolute world to us.

Now if anyone needs us, we’ll just be over here polishing that beautiful trophy of ours…

PS: We’re taking the trophy on tour across December. Follow its progress @24_fingers.
